When you become a Boy Scout something important happens to you. You aren’t just joining an organization, you are entering a world full of exciting adventures. You belong to a group of friends that want to go places and do things. As a Scout, you hike and camp and learn how to live outdoors, and many ways to care for the land. You will develop strength, confidence and good judgment. And you will find out how it feels to be a leader.
You can be a Scout if you have completed the 5th Grade, are 11 years old, or have earned your Arrow of Light as a Cub Scout, but are not older than 18 years of age.
Complete a Boy Scout Application and give the completed application to our Scoutmaster.
The Boy Scouts meet at Immaculate Conception School every Thursday, except school holidays, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m..
In addition to camping and hiking, activities include skiing, kayaking, caving, rock climbing, snorkeling, orienteering, canoeing, ice climbing, rappelling, baseball, hockey, basketball, swimming and community service projects.
