In Memoriam
Rev. Msgr. William J. Foley
Nineth Pastor of Immaculate Conception
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
~Amen~
Sadly, due to structural concern, The Archdiocese of New York
announced on September 28, 2022, the Tomkins Cove Church
can no longer, in its present state, be used as a place to celebrate mass.
Cardinal Dolan served as the principal celebrant and holilist at our Vigil Mass on April 23, 2022. The church was packed with mostly parishioners, but also parishioners from all the parishes of Rockland and Orange Counties.
His Eminence's reason for the visit was to celebrate the success of the 2022 Cardinal's Annual Stewardship Appeal. Immaculate acted as Host Parish to all parishes of Rockland and Orange Counties.
His Eminence's remarks about Immaculate to the congregation; regarding all the beautiful work done through our Renew + Rebuild Campaign allowed us to shine as the hosting parish for this event.
Cardinal Dolan served as principal celebrant and homilist at the 11:30 a.m. liturgy on Mothers’ Day, May 13, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church. At that time we recently began the The public phase of the major capital campaign Renew + Rebuild. After meeting individually with the major contributing families of the parish, $440,000 in pledges have been made toward our parish goal of $839,000. The Cardinal, was very impressed with the high response, he wanted to visit us at Immaculate.

Immaculate Conception Parish is a Christian community of disciples in the Roman Catholic tradition, called by Jesus, united in Eucharistic worship and growing in faith, hope and love. Nourished through the sacraments and strengthened by God’s transforming love, we are empowered to know the gospel message and to witness to others. As Christian stewards, we are thankful for God’s many gifts and we commit ourselves to share our time, talent and treasure in Christ-like service within our parish community and beyond. We seek God’s blessing and guidance to be faithful to this mission.
